I'd like to introduce you to Katie and Shane. Shane contacted me about wanting to do a shoot with his girlfriend, Katie and I was all for it! I know these two from my church and they are both amazing people and even better together. Our morning started after we got out of church and headed to the park down the street. The park has absolutely beautiful trails that go for miles, so it was a perfect setting. They were my first ever couples shoot so it took a lot of getting used to. I had to direct two people instead of just one. It took a while for me to get the hang of it, at least now I know that I can only go up from here!
Katie & Shane, you both are so fun to be around and the way you look at each other is so beautiful. Thank you for letting me take your pictures. And staying calm with me when I had absolutely no idea what to do next. Your love for The Lord is prominent in everything you do and it's so cool to see you both growing in your faith together. I can't wait to watch you two continue growing together.

I'd like to introduce you to Kyleigh. A beautiful young lady who will be a Junior this fall. We started our afternoon together by her repeating over and over that she had no idea what she was doing. But obviously from the pictures, this girl knows what she's doing. This spring we had a class together and she is such a talented, bubbly girl who brings joy wherever she goes.
I absolutely, positively loved working with her. She was probably one of the easiest people I've ever photographed. She was instantly able to do all kinds of different poses and was up for absolutely anything. ("Go down the hill by the creek? Sure! Climb on the rocks where there is water right next to you? Why not!) She was an absolute joy to photograph. And I so hope she chooses to come back to me to do her senior photos.
Kyleigh, you are such a wonderful, beautiful human being. The way your smile lights up every room you're in is such a wonderful sight to see. You're a joy to be around. Thank you for being such a wonderful model and giving me input as I gave you input. You're absolutely fabulous! Also, do yourself and the world a favor and audition for a America's Next Top Model. It was so hard choosing what pictures to edit. Another also, audition for the play this year, you're a crazy good actress. I love you dearly.

I'd like to introduce you to Darby. I had the privilege of taking this wonderful young lady's senior pictures today. We spent the day listening to Parachute and driving down country roads. Darby will be a senior this Fall at Hudsonville. She is incredibly talented in the musical and theater arts. I feel blessed to know this wonderful God following girl!
Darby, thank you for being my first ever senior shoot! It was a blast hanging out with you and spending the afternoon scouting out the best locations. I'm so glad that you were my first senior shoot, you made everything so easy and carefree, you didn't question anything and you just did what I told you. It definitely shows in these pictures! I hope they show you the beauty that you truly are. I can't wait to work with you again in the fall!

I'd like to introduce to you, Lauren and Lindsay. Two of some of the closest friends you'll ever meet. I spent the day with them today in downtown Holland. I've grown closer to these girls lately and I love it. They're both a breath of fresh air and you enjoy every minute with them. I'm so blessed to know each of them. Thank you girls for showing me what a true friendship looks like. I hope these pictures are what you hoped they would be! I love you both.
